Linda is the Principal Research Scientist for Fonterra Co-operative Group Ltd based in Palmerston North, New Zealand, responsible for the health research portfolio which provided science support for the Anlene brand.
She works on new science-based innovations for Anlene – identifying and arranging assessment of potential new ingredients or technologies to measure musculoskeletal health benefits. She is also actively involved in understanding bone, muscle and joint biology, analysing science literature and providing science advice and market support.
With a Science honours degree and a PhD in Microbiology & Immunology from Massey University, Linda has been an active researcher for over 40 years, with more than 60 published papers and conference presentations.
Ms Liew is the Senior Nutritionist at Fonterra Brands (Malaysia) who works on the bone health and mobility platform and Anlene Brands. She also assists the Scientific and Nutrition Manager in providing technical nutrition support and expertise to the marketing and new product development team.
Her passion for healthy eating and living well inspired her to graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition and Community Health from University Putra Malaysia (UPM).
As a Senior Nutritionist, her role is to safeguard dairy product integrity and deliver healthy choices of Anlene products for Malaysian consumers as well as develop and disseminate credible and accurate nutrition messages to promote bone health awareness among Malaysians.
In addition, she dedicates herself in training internal staff and customers as well as raising awareness of bone health and mobility among the general public.
Wendy is the Scientific and Nutrition Manager who leads the local nutrition team and develops nutrition competency to support the Company’s flagship brands for maternal, pediatric and adult nutrition.
She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition and Community Health from University Putra Malaysia (UPM) and has worked with Fonterra Brands (Malaysia) since 2004.
With her strong knowledge in nutrition science, Wendy provides scientific input for product innovation and improvements that allows Fonterra to continuously pioneer breakthrough products and deliver the best of dairy nutrition to consumers.
She is also a regular speaker and trainer on the nutrition science behind Fonterra’s dairy innovations to internal staff, doctors, nurses, dieticians and the general public.
